The results for the second round of the Indian Talent Olympiad Exam (a national-level exam conducted by Indian Talent Olympiad) have been announced. We received 6 Academic Excellence awards and got 3 State Toppers.


A student of Class V,Sreethu K P, has qualified for the second round of the Junior English Speech Competition Season 2, conducted by the International “Orma” Talent Promotion Forum.
The LUMINOSA English Fest at St. Ann’s School, Muttikulangara, saw 47 students from our school excel in activities like Spelling Marathon, Storytelling, Mock Interviews, and Live Reporting, enhancing language skills and creativity. Principal Ms.Rajitha Rajeevan attended a General Body Meeting, promoting academic and cultural collaboration.


The SAFAL exam for Grade 9 students at The SOBHA Academy was held from July 22nd to 26th, covering English, Math, and Science. Organized in batches of 30 students, the exam was supported by our teachers, assessing students’ learning outcomes and progress.
The Open Kids Mini Meet was held on 26th February at BSS HSS School, Kollengode bringing together young athletes from various Government and private CBSE schools. In the Under-10 category, Anamika R secured third place in long jump, while Maria Babu earned third place in shot put in both the Categories (U-10 & U-12), the relay team secured second place in their event.


The Kids Annual Athletic Meet 2025 was a spectacular event filled with energy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The event took place on 1st March 2025, at the Junior School Ground, bringing together young athletes from the foundation section to showcase their skills and competitive spirit
The 4th Kids Athletic Championship was held on 11th January 2025 Vidyapeetam, at Vyasa Kallekkaad, Palakkad. Eight students from Grades 3 to 5 participated and secured 6th place overall among 18 schools in the Level 3 category.


As part of Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Mannapra Silver Jubilee Celebration an Inter School Chess Competition was held on 22nd February and two students Krishnajith M and Prince Anil of Grade 8 from TSA participated.
18 Students participated in the Football tournament conducted at Sree Narayana Public School, Elapully on 22nd, 23rd and 24th February 2025 in the U-14 Category. The SOBHA Academy secured the 2nd runner up.


The Inter-House Football Tournament 2024-2025, held on October 26, was inaugurated by Vice Principal Ms. Deepa S.C. and Headmistress Ms. Lalitha Makesh. In the junior category, Bhoomi House secured first place, followed by Akash House in second and Vayu House in third. In the senior category, Akash House won, with Vayu House in second and Bhoomi House in third. The event concluded with trophy presentations, celebrating the students’ enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The Palakkad District Central School Sports Meet 2024, held on December 17th, saw TSA students shine with 9 Gold, 4 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals across Under 14, Under 17, and Under 19 categories. Notable achievers included Adikrishna R (Gold in 800m, 400m, and shot-put) and Aromal S (Gold in High Jump). TSA also excelled at the State Level School Athletic Meet, winning 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals. Additionally, TSA’s Tennikoit team secured 3rd place at the District Championship on December 21st. The events highlighted the dedication and success.


The Palakkad District Association Senior-Junior Mini Athletics Championship, held from October 3-5, 2024, at the Palakkad Medical College ground, saw 14 children participate. Sooraj S won second place in high jump, Shyam Krishna K P took fourth in high jump, Midhila Mohandas secured second in the under-14 long jump, and the Under-10 relay team finished fourth.
Held at SNPS Elapully, Palakkad, the tournament featured 12 teams in Under-16 and Under-19 categories. The SOBHA Academy’s Under-16 team dominated, winning all matches, including a 5-O final victory, and earned Best Player and Best Goalkeeper awards. The Under-19 team won. their first match 4-0 but lost 1-0 to Chinmaya Vidyalaya.


The SOBHA Academy’s Under-16 boys’ team secured the second runner-up position in the Palakkad District Sahodhaya Football Tournament held at Nurani Football Ground.
The CBSE Cluster Athletic Meet, held from September 19 to 21, 2024, at Peevees Model School, Nilambur, Malappuram, saw 24 students from The SOBHA Academy compete. The academy won three gold, two silver, and five bronze medals, with five students qualifying for the CBSE Nationals.


The SOBHA Academy competed in the CBSE Cluster 10 Football Tournament (07-13 Sept 2024) at ARAFA English School, Thrissur. The Under 14 team tied but lost in a tie-breaker, the Under 17 team won two matches, and the Under 19 team lost narrowly. A valuable learning experience overall
Anand and Adwaith from Class 9 represented the Under 17 category at the CBSE Southern Zone Boxing Competition in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, from September 9 to 11, 2024, earning bronze medals for their impressive performances


The SOBHA Academy’s five athletes participated in the CBSE National Athletic Meet in Varanasi, competing against 3,000 participants from India and the Gulf. Despite challenges like weather and food differences, they performed well, highlighting the value of consistent practice and exposure.
In December 2024, The SOBHA Academy organized enriching study tours for both Grade
IX and Grade X students, seamlessly blending education with exploration. On December 10, Grade IX students visited the GD Naidu Science Museum in Coimbatore, where they engaged in hands-on experiments and explored vintage car displays, sparking their curiosity about scientific innovations and technological advancements. Their journey continued to the Isha Adiyogi Centre, where students had a unique opportunity to reflect spiritually at the iconic Adiyogi statue, fostering a deeper sense of inspiration and mindfulness. The following day, December 11, Grade X students explored the GD Naidu Museum, delving into its various sections, including the G.D. Car Museum, Science Museum, Experiential, and Gandhi Museum. Through these immersive experiences, students gained valuable insights into the history of utomobiles, groundbreaking scientific achievements, and the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.


On 25th November 2024, 78 students from Classes 7A, 7B, and 7C visited the Centre for Science in Society (CSIS) at CUSAT. They explored electricity origins, participated in lab demos, and visited the IEEE Lab, learning about advancements by IEEE and ISRO. The experience linked classroom learning to real-world applications, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
On 20th November 2024, 68 students from Classes XI B and XII B visited NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion and SRG Apparels Ltd. in Tirupur. They explored advanced labs and learned about fashion education and industry practices. The visit offered valuable insights into the textile sector and career opportunities.


In November 2024, three exciting one-day tours were organized for different sections. On 18th November, Classes 3 and 4 visited Dream World Water Theme Park, enjoying rides and water activities. On 21st November, 170 Kindergarten students explored Fantasy Park, Malampuzha. On 23rd November, 168 students from Classes 1 and 2 visited Dream World, Chalakkudy. These well-organized trips fostered social interaction, teamwork, and lasting memories for all students.
