The SOBHA ACADEMY was established in 2007 and managed by the Sri Kurumba Educational and Charitable Trust, the CSR wing of Sobha Ltd., located at Panniayankara, Palakkad District. It is a registered charitable and educational society formed to mold the next generation of professionals with a global edge. The charitable trust also aims to reduce the economic disparities in the society. Mr. P.N.C. Menon heads this trust. The trust extends its services over the three panchayats viz. Vadakkenchery, Kizhakkenchery and Kannambra. It envisages the individual development of a student and the community as a whole.

At The Sobha Academy, we believe that education should be as vibrant and dynamic as our students. That’s why our CCEP is designed to blend academic excellence with exciting co-curricular adventures. Our program offers a kaleidoscope of activities that complement classroom learning, from arts and crafts to science experiments that spark curiosity. With CCEP at The Sobha Academy, our students will not only excel academically but also grow as a well-rounded individual ready to take on the world
School Facilities details
The Academy has a total super built-up area of 10,905 Sq mts with 42 classrooms, separate labs for all science subjects and social science, libraries, music rooms, dance rooms, yoga training, martial arts, sports facilities with various playing ground and courts, facilities for
other extracurricular activities, kitchen, and dining halls and the garden and also providing quality counseling and psychology support on entire working hours. All classrooms at The SOBHA Academy are equipped with interactive panels, enhancing the learning experience by integrating advanced technology with traditional teaching methods. Students are trained in Science, Humanities and Commerce streams in higher secondary classes. All classrooms, corridors, and other areas of The SOBHA Academy are equipped with CCTV cameras, ensuring comprehensive coverage for the safety and security of students and staff.
Academics
The Academy follows the CBSE syllabus which is student-oriented and believes in experimental learning in classrooms. This syllabus is ideal for students from BPL families as it gives equal importance to academics and co-curricular activities; it reduces the dropout rate as there is less fear and anxiety related to performance.
Every student gets ample opportunity to display their talents through various competitions like Recitation, Essay Writing, Story Writing, Poetry Writing & Slogan Writing are held on Saturdays to showcase the talents of the students. These competitions are held House wise. The students are divided into four houses. Sobha Ruby, Sobha Emerald, Sobha Sapphire & Sobha Topaz.
